EasyPal works well with PowerSDR .
Just be sure to confirm the soundcard setup each time you start EasyPal.

Heard some guys using digital SSTV on 20 meters and got curious since I had
done some SSTV about 15 years ago. They suggested I give it a try. Anyone
using EasyPal software with PwrSDR? Any suggestions on configuring the
software. I have DDUtil installed, VAC.

I have two FlexControls, one on a 5000, and one on a 3000. The one on the 3000

Per the Flex specs on the 5000: "Full duplex without the need for a second

How does one set up full duplex without the RX2? I assume separate
antenna and then settings on the antenna routing options?? Will this really
work without RX2?
Jerry is correct on all points. The FLEX-5000 has a stout front end and
it will take a signal in excess of 0 dBm to saturate the ADCs.
You should be OK unless the RX antenna is in the near field of the
transmitting antenna and you are running very high power. My antennas

This has been discussed before, and Gerald posted some actual RF
levels that were known to be safe for the receiver front end. I would
simply measure on all bands and verify that my setup was below these
levels. Attenuate in some way if not.

FlexMemory v2.0.0 has been released & is available for download from my

This version has 2 major enhancments:
1. Ability to scan stored memories.
2. Ability to import memories from PowerSDR.

All, As I understand this, when using RX2 with a receive-only antenna ( for
example) and the RX2 input configured to RX2 IN, there is no protection
for RX2 during transmit. The only time there is protections for RX2 occurs
when the input is set to RX1 Tap. Makes using a separate antenna on RX2 a

The TNF is a great feature and appears to be working well in my brief encounter
with it last night. As a "casual" operator, I probably will not use it much
because the bandpass filters already implemented in PowerSDR are so good. I
have yet to experiment with the revised ESC as I really do not h
