Richard et al.
I am using my 1500 and PSDR on the 630m band and have experimented with 2200m
too.
There is mW level drive on the transverter port on both bands but no filtering.
I have a 100W commercial HF amp that only needs 0dBm to put out 50W on 475kHz.
So I had to make an RX filter, TX filter
Bill,
I have found that VSPMgr and SSDR Cat don't always play together nicely.
SSDR Cat for me is sometimes unstable and virtual ports get ghosted.
Setting Flex Control knob to COM30 has helped.

Geoff, The Flex 1500 has no filtering below about 480kHz.What you are seeing
are images from any strong signal on the antenna. And maybe failure of image
rejection.I am using my F1500 on 630m and 2200m on WSPR etc with a 500kHz low
pass filter for Rx and one for Tx.I have made a small band pass
Hi to all.Does the GPS option for the 6000 series support active

The issue is overdrive.
I have a HLA300v that has plenty of gain and the F1500 is a good match at 5W.
300W at 160m, lower gain at 10m. They use 4 SD1446 75W transistors. PEP claims
are double reality. New version has MRF455 60W bipolars.

Hi Stu et al.
I have a Flex 1500 and have been using this MFJ noise canceller on 160m. It
works pretty well. There are other designs on the web with better phase
adjustment.
I use a 40m sloper as the "noise" antenna that is on the oposite corner of the
block. The antenna on 160m is a folded m
My Flex 1500 on a similar PC is the same.
There is more CPU activity with PSDR in full screen and it scales with window
size from 40 to 10%. A few % with the panadapter off.
My graphic card is a little underdone, on a single core 3GHz Pentium D with
more graphic card memory it is better.

Hello all.I have just built a transmit (only) converter for 137kHz with a 4MHz
LO. I am receiving on VFO A on PA or XVRX at 137KHz with a band pass filter and
trying to transmit on VFO B at 4.137MHz on XVTX/COM into the transverter. The
TX and RX antennas are not the same.It will not transmi
BobI am using an HM-31 dynamic. It is plug and play for mic and PTT, the up down
buttons are not functional. For my voice I need to EQ the lows down and the
highs up.I also use Heil BM10-5 (discontinued?) and Proset Elite (HC6 wide band
element) the laters drivers seem very sensitive so there is

This has the F1500 pin out for the flex wire port.
I have an HLA 300V that will do a cleen 300W or so with the 5W drive. A bit
more at lower frequencys.
The RCA port is PTT when grounded by pin 3. Flex recomend a diode reverse
