For the last few days, had problems with PA calibration first using the
test branch version. Not sure which revision.
Then today after another svn update I noticed lower than normal power
output. Tried an 80m PA Calibration, advanced mode. Seems like same
failure as previously with test bra

I have made a discovery, I had previously tried using an external keyer
with the same crappy keying waveform that I get on the dots using the
internal keyer.
Lo and behold, I moved the keying signal from the dot (tip) to the dash

This FRS-recommended Dell Dimension E520 has no parallel port and no
serial port.
That makes it pretty much incompatible with SDR1K IMO.
I have gotten tired of the USB disconnects that occur several times per

almost the same as Windoze for the user. It comes with Thunderbird,
Firefox, Open Office and many more applications. If you have
broadband internet you can download Ubuntu 7.1, or if not, the folks

dissapointed that an apparently unadvertised software trap caused me to
transmit SSB on a non-SSB frequency, even if it was for a very short
transmission. When I saw the SSB-wide signal in the PowerSDR display
along with the BPSK
I downloaded the trial versions of VAC 4.03 and Mixw 2.17. Installed
them and got them running with my SDR-1000. Unfortunaltely, without
