Hi Steve,
I am running a Flex 5KA with version .19RC1 software and an Acom 2k. When I
first got the Flex 3 years ago there was a problem with a spike on key up
that would trip the Acom. Within about six months of owning the Flex and

I hate to disagree but I did NOT import a data base and the CW mode B was

When I switched to an EV-RE27 using a Behringer MIC 2200 I had a similar
problem. It sounded like I was running reverb. I set the Behringer the
same as I had with a Behringer B-1 mic, about 3 or 4 LEDs coming on with the
MIC 2200 level control and the Flex gain around 25. After messing around

The transfer was easy, the software is free, there is a ton of QSLing

I have used the edgeport 4 port and 8port and both have worked very well.
You will need some ferrite beads to isolate the unit from RF if you use high
power. I wish I was associated with edgeport and if anyone wants to donate

Mark and Jerry,
DDutil will work with THP if you use the PW1 Icom tab and a CI-V connection.
Set the port to 5c. You will need a level converter from your serial port.
I tried Yaesu and Kenwood connections and could not get them to work. I

Same problem here. This has been mentioned on the reflector a couple of
