access to it while it is undergoing some maintenance and instructions

Just an fyi guys. There is a patch for PowerDesk (file manager) that
stops the crashing on context menu.
Evidently it affects Windows Explorer too. Applied that and SVN is
working fine.
Thanks for your suggestions.

There is no need to delete the old TortoiseSVN before installing the new

simply click the link to go to the TortoiseSVN web site, download the new

Ned,
Your TortoiseSVN is working correctly. TortoiseSVN integrates with the
Windows File Explorer (or whatever it's called) and provides svn-related
options in the form of extra menu options. When you're not on an svn
working directory on your machine, you'll have fewer options available

A short tortoisesvn menu item has been added to every file on
my machine, versioned or not. I hope this is not normal.
PowerSDR has the appropriate long SVN menu, and it works.
I've looked at the tortoise help file and tried the "remove"
(command line) command to no avail. I wonder if

I'm trying to reinstall Tortoise SVN and, when I right click the desk
top icon and go to SVN Checkout I get the following option.
svn://206.216.146.154/svn/repos_sdr_windows/power.sdr
When I 'OK' that, I get "Error: URL
'svn://206.216.146.154/svn/repos_sdr_windows/power.sdr' doesn't exist "
Dale,
Try this:
1. From your Windows Explorer (the File system explorer -- not Internet
Explorer), click on:
File > TortoiseSVN > Repo-browser
2. Paste the following URL into the URL textbox on the small dialog box
that pops up:
svn://206.216.146.154/svn/repos_sdr_windows/PowerSDR/trunk/bin/

I finally got around to loading Tortoise and running it. Very easy with

you have to go toYOUR_DIR/TRUNK/BIN/RELEASE in order to run the

Hi Jim, Y*E*S it can be very intimidating at first, but the fellas
at Flex have put together a real nice tutorial on how to use
Tortoise. It even has screen dumps of what you will see. And at the

Well, I have Tortoise, and I am sure if I were developing code for this
project, it would mean a lot to me. But, quite frankly I don't know where to
begin with it. There are a lot of directories with the same name
subdirectories which am I supposed to use? Maybe I am just too
dense.

When installing the files via tortoise to powersdr folder using just the
powersdr/trunk/source options, it gives an error "folder does not exist".
Using the other url powersdr/trunk loads properly BUT it also loads the BIN
files. I dont need the BIN files as I compile locally.
