I just noticed fgfs SDL just won't run on a 16 bpp X.
When I run it I get:
Fatal error: Failed to set SDL video mode: Couldn't find matching GLX

Is is possible to define for specific areas which materials/textures FG
should use to render the ground? Something like polygons of global
coordinates which say in this area, use that material/texture for
cities/forests etc.?
