I am not sure, but initial strings play a vital role in modem
connection. Default initial strings used by modems is ATZ. I use zte
cdma G218 set for internet connection in both fedora, kubuntu and
windows, and it shares a common initial string at+crm=150. This
initial string works for this set,
well the phone is different, but the controller is the same. But as
Anjan said, I think that Init strings of the modem matters. The only
way that is possible to see is to see it from Windows, and I have no
idea how do that.
Can anyone suggest how to look at the Init strings of Modem in Windows.
In windows query modem option is there in phones and modems option
which suggests the init string. but i don't know if that string works
or not.
in linux, after executing command wvdialconf, if the phone is found,
