After a file opens and you click on it, it goes into "spin mode" and grinds

Hi Yves
I have the same issue. The Save As PDF freezes at the very end, does not save
the file and "locks up" Frame. Nothing seems to allow you to escape without
doing a force quit of Frame with the task manager. This happened frequently to
me when Frame 2019 first came out, after the first update.
workarounds or settings to help with this stuff,
please let me know.
I have been a Frame user, and Frame expert in a large company, since the
beginning, 1980’s until recent retirement. I should know better than to take on
a new version out of the gate. I was a beta tester in earlier days, so I
that it is best to install Acrobat last so that it can set up the
other apps for you.

By definition, table footings are at the bottom of each page of a multiple page
table. There is really no other reason for a footing to exist. What you want is
another body row, with custom formatting if you wish, to have it look different
to represent the footing information.

Hi Gillian
These numbers are hex codes that Frame uses to manage the save operations. They
should exist only for seconds or less during the save. We saw this very
