Hi,
Can any one tell me that
FREE RADIUS client is inernally doing UTF-8 conversion
for the multilingual characters or It is replying on some other underlying
module
who is suppling credentials like username and password?

.
Does it send the same multilingual charcters to the RADIUS server or
first of all convert that into UTF-8 as per RFC 2865 and send it to
RADIUS server in ACCESS REQUEST packet as attribute or
just send as it is to RADIUS server?

Hello Sir,
Uh... nonsense.
You can't write chinese characters in ASCII. You need to write them
in another encoding, such as UTF-8.
*SOrry for giving half information Sir,*
I even know that I can't write the Chinese characters in ASCII.
You have misunderstood me totally sir over here.
But
OK No probs sir,
Thank a lot to Alan and John for guiding me a lot.

While I am doing testing of my RADIUS client with multilingual
characters consits in the username to check my
multilingual support module. At that time
the same in place of Chinese I have
written the hex equivalent of ∞ infinity symbol which is also
a multilingual character in place of username and sent the request
containing
hex equivalent of UTF-8 of ∞ infinity symbol.
Kindly correct me If i am wrong.

Hello Aland,
I am having one question regarding UTF-8 handling of RADIUS server.
As Per our talk you told me that whatever the module which required to use
mulilingual characters that is required to do UTF-8 encoding decoding
stuff..
But my doubt lies here,
When RADIUS server recieves request
to the list. I *do* read the list, and
getting multiple messages means I'm more likely to delete them all.
And start your own thread, it makes tracking questions and answers
much easier.

As per my understanding of RFC 2865,
It is clearly written in *section 5.0 of RFC 2865* that,

Ok, I understood your point.
But as per RFC 2865,
what is the meaning of then UTF-8 encoded 10646 [7] characters, the [7]?
7 stands for what over here?
And one more thing as per RFC 2865,
1) As per this new RFC only only we need to support US-ASCII not any other
character set, right?
2) Does
. But that is not an RFC compliance
issue.

understood your point sir.*
