Two suggestions for Freevo:
1) Use localized IMDB versions:
The IMDB plugin searches for titles against the default http://www.imbd.com, however, in my case, it gives much more relevant results if I use the localized http://italian.imdb.com
Would it be possible to add this as a configurable

I've been thinking about this too. It might put lots of strain on the
PCI bus,

2) Password protected folders (parental control)
Some way to protect certain folders
It would be convenient to have include and exclude functionality here.
I.e., I use samba/nfs to access images and music from freevo. I don't want to
re-organize the directory strucure of my fileserver, but would like to tell
freevo what to use/show, what to hide and what to password-protect in
2 suggestions :
- a graphical configuration for standard parameters should be nice.
This could manage the theme chooser, the plugin list, and so on. Not all
the stuff but allowing user to change things without editing the config
file
- I do not play with the new 1.5, but a feature that i'm
2) Password protected folders (parental control)
3) more docs, because that features is in Freevo for a long time
now. Put a file called .password in the directory with a numeric
password, e.g. 1234.
Ah, thanks. That's good.

OK, some mine recommendations / wishes :
1. simplifying of keyboard and IR control of freevo. Now it uses too
many keys, some of them I don't feel as necessary and it's impossible to
map it to some simpler IR controllers. I would recommend similar system
as in my cell phone - two direction keys

I think I've fixed the vanishing attribute problem in the recent
TvProgram chanes. By initialising (not in init but right under the
Class) all the variables as None they will be visable to the marmalade
serialization. I also changed tv.record_client.py to allow_none which
does just that.

Hi,
I'll ad my 2 cents what features I miss most:
- video conference plugin, maybe Gnomemeeting integration (chatting over
video or audio only will be sooner or later feature that will be must to
have...)
- touchscreen support (my wife likes Freevo GUI very much and is kind of
disapointment when

This can be done with 1.5-era versions.
