Hello Paul,
It's version 1.3.4
The thing is, i don't even know how it's supposed to work:)
Does it work only for mp3 or does it work for audio CDs only?

Hi everybody!
I've tried to get freevo working with my Hollywood+ card for several
days now but I haven't succeeded so far. I learned from a posting
that the binary releases do not support the dxr3 anymore. Neverthe-
less I replaced the libSDL with the one supporting dxr3 hardware.

You should get a message 'scanning directory' and the scanning should
only be done when you enter a directory the first time.

2. What do you mean by "doesn't work" does it show up in the menu when

Hello there,
I enabled the audio cover search plugin adding this line in local_conf.py
plugin.activate( 'audio.coversearch', args=('amazonid',) )
But it doesn't seem to work and there's no error message in the logs
(although DEBUG=1 is set). Do you have any hints on how to troubleshoot
this?

It's possible; but it looks like keys.[ch] uses it; ncurses.h includes
keycodes, so it's used for interpreting KEY

Xine doesn't use mga_vid exactly, it uses vidix, which is similar (in
fact is has a driver called mga_vid in it) but it's a little
different.

You definitely need ncurses installed. A look at the Makefile.am for
fbxine has:
if HAVE_NCURSES
fb_programs = fbxine
endif
You don't seem to have the ncurses headers installed.

Hmm... I didn't have to uncomment anything, but the relevant portion
of mine is this:
fb_programs = fbxine
bin_PROGRAMS = ${fb_programs}
I'm assuming you have xine-lib installed as well as the Linux kernel
sources somewhere?

Its there already - copied it over anyway (tried it from both /usr/lib and
from the working freevo-1.3.2-pre4/runtime/dll)

did you copy it as it was, or did you rename it so it overwrites the old

One-Wire is a Bus developed by Dallas Semi. It's purpose is
communication between different chips/processors/sensors/... in
electronic systems.
I've got an ATI remote wonder - this is a wireless remote (USB receiver).
I'm still undecided on this as at present as the range is somewhat limited.
When I tired it at work it had a useable range of about 10meters, but at
home that range is seriously reduced to only 1 to 3 meters depending on the
