Can someone please tell me where a document is that could help me..
I'm trying to get directfb working with the G400
I've complied the kernel, directfb.. and can play MPlayer with vo=dfbmga,
patched the SDL, and am using freevo 1.3.2
I just need to know how freevo gets displayed on the tv...

OK.. I've successfully complied & installed SDL-1.2.5 (
http://www.libsdl.org/ ).. with the patch.

I've successfully complied my kernel, directfb, and MPlayer-0.90 and am able
to use the -vo dfbmga at a command line, and it displays the video on my tv.
every thing else is displayed on my monitor.
How do I get freevo to use the dfbmga, I edited the freevo.conf to use
dfbmga, but it gives me liba

The GNOME task bar, on the bottom of the screen.
I start the box up in RL-3, run my scripts for the frame buffer.
Then go to RL-5.
Center my display (I could have done this before... but I'm doing it
manually right now till
When I tried this, freevo came up fine.. but when I tried to view a movie...
it would not play.
it would go to a black screen, then back to freevo.
I did try one other thing, which kind of worked.
under /etc/freevo/frevoo.conf i changed display from X11 to fbdev
Doing this, when I played moves,
I didn't see this in the archive... so I'm sending it again. I know SF was
running of their back up server this morrning.. dont know if that affected
the mailing list or not. If you get this twice, I'm sorry.

Tim,
Did you ever get this resolved ?? I'm having the same problem with my
freevo setup..
I'm using a G400 Framebuffer on RH 9.
Before I set up the frame buffer, I had fullscreen in freevo & Mplayer.
Now that I've set up and framebuffer, the freevo application works fine, but
the Mplayer reverts
Just wondering if anyone has tried this with freevo ?? I ran across it
today, and thought it would be perfect.

Is their a way to set up random playback of all your audio files, with out
