Been playing with this latest release of freevo + directfb, and have noticed

Ok, back again
Having "display = dfbmga" in my freevo.conf does not ouput the freevo
picture to my TV like it should.
However, if I play a movie while freevo is runnig, the movie plays on my TV,
then I exit, and freevo re-appears on my monitor (not my tv).

Already done all that (SDL was done right, links are there, installed all

Just a question, if I have not activated the games plugin in freevo, why
does it bother me with pygame errors in the first place?

But now comes the problem I am
I am actually doing this with one of my (two) Freevo systems. I have had no
major problems with doing this so far. The only other additional thing setup
on the freevo system is Samba so that I can share out my recorded directory

Do you have a console window plug-in for freevo as well? If

Why does this command (./freevo cache) cache the entire filesystem?
Shouldn't it just cache the important directories defined in local_conf.py
like DIR_MOVIES etc... ?
This is in version 1.4.1, the help says it is only suppose to cache data
dirs too.
Just curious if anyone else has this issue?

Added the following line to freevo.conf:
