LIRC 0.7 is the only version that currently works with 2.6 kernels Use the LIRC tarball the RPM is only built with support for irman, also it doesn't actually work (in my past experience) To build LIRC you shouldn't have to do more than ./configure follow the gui then make, make install optiona
