OS X snappy after IE 5.2 installation

Hi list I've just installed Inernet Explorer 5.2 (Mac OS X 10.1.5, Pismo, 400 MHz, 320MB ram) and Pismo feels really "snappy". It was OK so far, but suddenly it started flying. Am I imagining stuff or did M-Soft manage to have OS X under hand brake with previous versions of IE like it does i

I cannot get my Powerbook G3 (firewire/pismo) to boot from a CD-R. It boots from the included cd's and my OS X install cd fine but it refuses to boot from any CD-R that was previously bootable in my beige G3 (OS 9 cd backup and something else now). Any clues? Justin -- G-Books is sponsore

This appears to be a known issue on these machines. My icebook has been back to Apple twice over the hinge issue. When it first came back, all was fine for a week, and then it came back. When I went to the Apple store, the Mac Geniuses were claiming that the machines were supposed to do that,
