Hey all
Thank you all so much for helping me fix the screen problem with OSX Jaguar

I have the same siutation here. Less then a year old and just one hour of
battery life on mi Tibook. I always turn down the light of the screen and
turn off AirPort but that does not help much.

Basically, after running for awhile, the fan starts spinning

Getting to the heatsink on a Wallstreet isnt difficult, but it is more
work than would be on a TiBook.
1) Remove Both bay devices
2) Release the keyboard latches located in the bays (one in each)
3) Flip the keyboard over onto the trackpad to reveal the 'guts' of the
wallstreet
4) remove a

The 15 PowerBook can do 1x when unplugged, the drive does not get
enough power to do 2x and actually completely burn a DVD, that is why
PC laptops with DVD-RWs are 2x but can only burn when plugged in. Now
the question is can Apple's PowerBooks burn at 2x when plugged in? Or
is it 1x always?
Oh, and can you send me the PDF from the day they come out, I am trying
to compile some info.
Thanks,

Did not know that. I will be happy if it burns at x2 plugged in!
but the new specs say x 1.
