I asked some questions here about an airport card in an ibook. Well I
got it to work!
Where is a good place to find info about how to use it on a Wi-Fi
network?

If you don't have a manual for it, go here:

Did you try to use either USB or FireWire PCMCIA cards with the
Wallstreet II while running XPostFacto?
Do either work?
I didn't, but I don't see why one type of card should work (airport) and
not another. The buyer of my book plans to add USB via PCMCIA, so

I use both FW and USB 2 cards with my XPostFacto'd Wallstreet 300 w/

However, printing is broken, and VPC won't boot Win98; it has to be a

Thank you for your reply.
A few other questions if you don't mind -
Printing is broken? Does this mean via a usb printer or trying to use
the serial ports? (serial ports don't work in x, or so I've been told)
And does the lower slot work at all? It seems a shame to have two slots
and not have

I'd love to convert some of my LPs to digital.
Can I do this with my Lombard

that's good to know. I looked at one today and couldn't figure out why one
would use it since it has mini plugs like the pismo. An Apple rep said it
the new powerbooks didn't have mini plugs.
So it does the plugs are better. AND it converts analogue to digital. And it
works as an amp for stereo

I've got a Wallstreet with either a bad memory module or processor

so flaky...
Any help is appreciated.

Nope, nothing special, outside of XPostFacto. In fact, 10.3 was
installed onto a freshly formatted and partitioned HDD. Of course, I
had to install OS 9 first, so it could boot in the first place. OS 9
and 10 are on different partitions, and even though my HDD is not over

Hi!
I've got a very genereal question and I'd be very interested if anyone
has any thoughts about it.
Looking at my Pismo, I now find the Titanium PowerBook vintage appeal
starting to call me. These were troublesome in that they were easily
banged up, scratched, etc. Is the aluminum as
