I've downloaded MacTheRipper to rip a DVD (Spaceballs) to shrink and put on my T3, but the app keeps crashing (MacTheRipper has unexpectedly quit). I've reinstalled, run repair permissions, rebooted, nothing seems to help. Any advice? My specs are G3 700 iBook, 684 ram, OS10.3.9, to a Sony DVD

I don't think it is that. I can rip fine with my G3 ibook 600. I can rip with a Wallstreet, a Lombard, and a Pismo. All day and all night. 100 percent success. I cannot successfully burn a usable disk in any of those, however, and the drive is fully supported with PatchBurn, as necessary,
