Wallstreet that I've had since new (I bought the
floppy option at the time - and that is what is in the
bay). I would like to upgrade to OS 9 and give the
book to my parents - so I need the CD Drive.
What are my options now that I need to purchase a

Replacement cd-rom drives can be had for about $20-$30 on Ebay,
I have a lombard screen with the keyboard marks on the screen. It
looks as if the keysd scraped off some of the protective coating. Is

Just a friendly reminder to all.
It's gotten quite cold these last weeks and I've noticed, in particular
when wearing anything made of Polartec, that when I reach for the light
switch when I enter the room to use my iBook, when I hit the light switch I
often create a very loud snap/spark

Howdy,
If you can wait a couple of weeks (I teach and am in seminary, and will
be up to my eyebrows in work for both until the 16th), I have a DVD
module for the Wallstreet you can have for free. Sorry, I don't have
the required pcmia card you need with it to watch DVD videos, but it
works
Thankfully, we don't have to worry about that down here in Miami.

I have a PB G4 400 MHz. I used to get gunk (oil/dirt) transferred
from my keyboard to screen. A couple of years ago a wise friend
advised me to keep a paper towel over the keyboard when the powerbook

Hi,
I would like to purchase a new

Looking for battery life for extended use when

That'd be fantastic! I understand exactly how busy

just finished my latest degree recently. I am not

I have a PBG4 500 Mhz and I wonder what is the expected life of the
battery. I only have an hour to keep it running now. Is that
normal? Any recommendations? Or do I need to recondition my
battery? What steps will I take to maximize power of my battery?
