Same with AP here. I have a AL BP 800 FW that I upgraded to Tiger.
Was running Panther 10.3.9 and now I get sporadic bars in the menu
bar for reception. I can't tell if the reception is actually less or
just the indicator is messed up. I am also using an Express as a
remote base station
Can someone provide a link to the site where GaugePro can be downloaded?

Dan, hold the Command and Option keys down while double clicking on the
Memory Control Panel. The option to turn testing off at startup will

Aaron, may I borrow some more of your expertise? What would you
recommend in the way of Virus software?
While I have not seemed to have a problem with my Mac, I do seem to see
alot of emails that are carrying viruses around.
But in general what do you recommend?
Thanks,

I hear you but I just can't seem to justify 100.00 (per year) for a
virus program and other stuff I just don't need. I would rather spend
60.00 on a single program. I realize that virus on a Mac are the least
of my problems but I am getting an amazing number of them through
email. I believe I

I own an AL PowerBook. I researched both the iBook and ALBook. I went
with the PowerBook 15 and feel this was a better decision. I would
advise the PowerBook.
I would also strongly advise the AppleCare Program. It isn't cheap but
it has already paid for itself with me--twice!
Best Regards,
My 14 Wallstreet starts up with 10.2.8 Jaguar okay but the backlight
goes out during the process and stays that way until I turn it up.
Is this a PRAM battery issue?
Anybody know where I can get a replacement PRAM battery? (Part Number
616-0102 is what the PRAM battery says) It is a flat
I also had this happen. I was able to get around it by:
Erase the hard drive-twice.
Repartition if needed for the 8 GB exception. (Unnecessary on a HD with
less than or equal to 8 GB)
Run Disk Repair on the newly erased HD. (You would be surprised)
Install OS X on the newly erased HD.

I have a 15 and am quite happy. I researched both the iBook and the

gotten the PowerBook later. If you can afford the PB over the iBook
then definitely go with it. I did not have the money to

Does anyone know if a Buffalo Wireless Card 54 GHz card can be used on
a WallStreet PowerBook G3?
I am using OS 9.2.2 and an Airport Extreme Base Station. I know Orinoco

The wireless card is WLI-CB-G54A.
Any help is appreciated.
