Pismo Troubles - Blown Power Card??

I had installed a different hard drive in my Pismo 500, After I got it back together, it would not boot. So, I put back the old drive and it will boot with AC power but not on battery alone. I have two good batteries. Both show full charge on the battery - four lights and worked fine

External Monitor with Pismo Closed

Is there a way on any control settings that I can run the Pismo without opening the unit? Jarrett On page 39 of the 'Setting Up Your PowerBook' manual that came with my Pismo, it says to leave the Pismo closed and use the power button on the external keyboard to boot the system. It works

Screw problem

anyone has ideas on removing a screw with a worn-out head? Go to a good hardware store or an auto parts store and get a small 'easy out' and a drill bit to match. The easy out is a small wedge shaped screw with a reverse thread. You drill a small hole in the center of the phillips head 'X'
