Not sure if there is enough padding or not as i made a small padded
sleeve out of quilting material and slip it into a case i just bought
at Ikea... they are on sale for $9.99 (Canadian) and fit the Lombard
perfectly... might take a look if your near an Ikea and the U.S. ones

Have a little network set up with 2 imacs and my powerbook... am
using a D-Link router. It shorted out the other day and stopped
working. The place I bought it is having trouble finding the exact
one and suggested the same brand, but wireless as it has ethernet
plugs in the back and would

digest... checked the power brick and low and behold, the power cord
had come out about an 1/8, enough to disconnect, but not enough to
be seen plugged it back in
Tried command control power... still nothing.

That's very reassuring to hear. I had planned to send my wallstreet in for
the hinge upgrade, thinking that for $10 more than the stock hinges it was
a great deal. Sadly
Just fixed one on my Lombard... don't know if it might be the same

Stopped in at a local independent dealer to have them take a look at
the ethernet connector on the rear of the lombard... we determined
that the two wires in the computer socket on the outsides (one on
each side of the socket) had been compressed a bit... we used a
dental tool to lift them
Have just set up a little three computer network in the house...
picked up a D-Link router and a ton of cable. Although nothing was
easy (except running cable) in the set up, i got it working. Found
that the G3 Lombard was losing the connection every few minutes and
nothing i would do seemed
Was quickly tired of using the track pad on my Lombard... (that
didn't take long...only have had it for a couple days) and remembered
an old puck style mouse from my 266 Rev B that has been sitting in
a drawer for years... Took it apart... sprayed the underside of the
top portion with a vinyl
