Toast Titanium 5.1 updater DID disable those extensions, really, it did! It
left the disc burner extension enabled though and have turned that off,
which has not helped the situation.
I've now down a diagnostic clean install and the ASP still shows nothing.
I've yet to try it on another machine

Yes, I've got the 12X10X32X and have had the same problem under OS 9.2.2. I
got a phone numer ( tech support 714-692-3588) That they offered to me
when I contacted them on their web site. I haven't had time to call yet, but
had a free partition that I just loaded OS 9.04 on , and it all works

I assure you that Toast does *not* automatically disable those extensions.

Thanks Gene but Toast does that automatically when it's installed. They
haven't been active for a while. I've also tried re-enabling and then
disabling them again, but that doesn't work either. Thanks anyway though,
Any other offers?

Hi everybody,
I'm having a rather big problem with my Que! FireWire CD burner (8x4x32) in
that it is no longer recognised by the system, no matter what I do. I was
happily burning CDs only yesterday, and then, this morning - dead as a dodo.
The power's there, and of course turning it off and on
