Panther include Classic mode as well?
And by the way, where Airport range problems fixed with the 1 GHz

For the most part, no. In fact, there have been many reports of some
applications working FASTER in Classic than
15 TiBook. 867Mhz or 1GHz. I believe they're the last th boot into OS9.
Discontinued, of course...
These certainly can boot in OS 9 and are awsome machines (I own one

Hi, listers!
I want to get a newer iBook/PowerBook that starts with Mac OS9.
I'll install Mac OS X, too; but I'll have to learn it. OS X didn't run
too well on my WallStreet with 256 Mb, so I un-installed it, and didn't
learn much.

You are incorrect. Any G3 iBook will dual boot. Check the Special
Deals section of the Apple Store. It specifically says the 800/900mhz
iBooks will dual boot.

The app Mactracker lists every Apple computer ever created. The
notebook section also mentions what OS each computer can boot.
