Its a mail server problem. If mail can't connect to the server it asks for your email password again. It assumes that you entered it incorrectly or it has changed since the last connection. Ignore it and it will reuse the original one on the next mail check. John On Nov 7, 2005, at 11:42 A

Used to happen a lot on my Comcast mail account, but it hasn't cropped up for a few weeks now. I always found that if I reset my DHCP addresses by shutting down everything from the cable modem to my eyeballs it cleared up. I also tried deleting some of the keychain passwords but that didn't
