Your almost right, I am using an old VCR for the tuner, however it runs into the Dell 2005FPW 20 inch screen not the PowerBook. The Dell Screen has VGA, DVI and a S plug, you can switch between them using a switch on the front of the display and you can also see TV using it's built in P in P. I ha

The DVI on the Dell is hooked up to a Mac Mini, so I switch back and forth PowerBook VGA to Mini DVI, even have a video recorder hooked in to the S plug, so I can switch to the TV also or use P in P. All the wires are a nightmare though. Love these PowerBooks. Brian Hey, Brian ... Are you sayin

Been using my Ti500 as desktop system for over 4 years now. 2 firewire hard disk and 1 burner daisy chained. Use a Matias tactilepro keyboard with a Microsoft wirelss mouse. Recently hooked it up to a 20 in. Dell display works OK, but there is not enough video ram to run screen savers in iPhoto. O

I love how the PowerBook works with the extended display and have been surprised at how cool it's been running with it... seemingly, cooler than using the PowerBook alone, though I can't imagine why that is, unless it's been my lap and not the machine generating the heat all this time :-/
