Well I have to say that this has been a very strange day. Here we are, talking about hard drive options, and all of a sudden, one of my external drives just started buzzin' like a chainsaw. Correct me if I'm wrong, but once that happens, isn't it toast? Or is there a diagnostic procedure

Cost me about $240 for the same service, though with a Hitachi TravelStar drive (80 for the labor, 150 for the drive). --- tamara buffalo [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I too am looking to upgrade my PB 867 my 40 gig HD is almost full (music and fotos) so i went to Microcenter, (which i like

The labor for a drive swap was for a modern 12 PowerBook, the hard to open aluminum one with a million screws. I did the swap myself on the Pismo in all of about 10 minutes. Andrew On 1/27/05 3:07 PM, Zoltan Batiz [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: On Jan 27, 2005, at 7:36 AM, Andrew wrote: Cost
