I've had exactly the opposite problem of yours, trying to install OS 9.2 coming with the same iBook as yours on a Lonbard and a TiBook 1GHz. I get the message "this program cannot run on this computer". The workaround is make a copy of the OS 9 after having installed it fresh on the iBook, then cop

Hi, AFAIK, Panther doesn't allow booting from OS from any disc in any system. OS 9 Helper will install 9.2.2 on old world Macs (powerbooks, too?), but I've never used it. Ah, the old days - when we could de-activate and re-bless Sys Folders at will with mininal risk. Also, does Panther install al
