Goodness, it's quite clear. I saw the earlier post and checked my Serial Number by clicking on the Aqua Apple Menu/About This Mac. When the little box opens right under the Apple Logo and where it says Mac OS X beneath that it says 'Version 10.3.8' click on THAT then it will say build number
