I just purchased a dead Pismo, which according to the seller
had been dropped. I'm trying to revive it. The case has a small

One thing I forgot to mention regarding the dead Pismo;
there's no hard drive in it. But I assume it should power on
without a drive, correct? There is a DVD drive and I have
the startup disc.
