You know what? you could've partitined it! It could only read 128GB of
partition space at a time, so why don't you put that 250GBHDD back in there,
and put in (2) 125GB partitions. Also, if you want to "beef it up", use
LeopardAssist to put leopard on it. Leopard requires a G4 processor @ 867Mhz

I have successfully booted OS 9 from a USB flash drive before, but here is
why i was able to. External USB drives (not flash drives) use their own
power supply, and require an OS to be used or seen. Flash drives work as if
they were internal drives, but slower. I did install OS 9 to USB, it worked.

look you guys, if you want leopard to run on a G4 processor slower than
867Mhz, you don't need some serious hacking... lol who would hack just to
install leopard.
Just download LeopardAssist. It basically allows leopard to install by

You correct Clark. It is an early Quicksilver and not a DA. I tried a 250
gig HD but it only saw 128 gig of it. Hated to waste all that drive space so
I just used a smaller drive on hand. I will look for a dual processor now
and beef this machine up a bit.

This motherboard acted up even when I had os9 on it. So I am pretty
