The optical drive door hinges open at the bottom of the door.
It is quite easy to open the door with a finger nail or carefully
with a sharp object.
Once the door is open you will see the front of the drive its self
with it's paper clip hole.
From there I think you will know what to do.

I assume that any ethernet card with 8169 chip set is compatable with
my QS, like some other components regardless of posted OS
compatability.
Cause I found some on Ebay with a minor alphabet between the "R" and
the 8169.
