Hi all,
Are you guys familiar with the board game Risk? It's my favorite game,
aside from monopoly. I can't find an accessible version of the game
anywhere and was wondering if somebody would help me try to find one.
I'm interested in either finding an online version, one for a windows

hi, just wanting to get some confirmation. is alter aeon down? if so, is
it a scheduled outage, or an unplanned one.
i have noticed that the website is also down, or so it would seem. it
says its under construction, but it looks almost like the site has been
removed.

Hi Sly,
No. The Adrift text adventures are free, but the generator, IE the
program to create Adrift games, is something you have to pay for. If
you are getting a prompt to enter a password I suspect it is opening
the taf file in the Adrift Generator and not the Adrift Runner. Make
sure you have
Hi Laurel,
Risk happens to be one of my favorite board games as well. Especially,
the Star Wars: Clone Wars edition by Hasbro. Unfortunately, there are
no accessible audio game versions of Risk that I am aware of. If I

Hi Phil,
Nope, I did not roll the Get Naked Dice on a real game board. I do not have
one. About 22 years ago Chuck and Diana read all of the squares on the game of
Life board to me so that I could make an accessible computer version. I then
gave the game to them for their kids to play.
The site is not down, it's something to do with the dns. I
believe Dentin said that you had a one in seven chance of
connecting, though once it works you seem to be good.

This game is called bokurano Daibouken, and you can find it on the
audiogames.net forum. It's free, however it is almost entirely in Japanese.

Hi Jim,
A reasonable substitute for a real game board could be a box of cereal

Another would be a shoe box but again made flat so you would not get a

If this has already been mentioned on the list, I apologize.

Hi,
I love Risk! It's a holiday tradition since I was little, family
members gather around and play it. Monopoly was and is another
favorite, I've got a Braille version of MOnopoly, but like Risk am
looking for an audio version of it as well.
Thanks.
Dave.

Hi,
Well, if anyone has an accessible copy of the rules, IE the manual,

guys.
One of the problems for me is I don't remember all of the rules
