Hi Ari, I like your ideas but partly why I mentioned a cricket board game
already popular and in existence is because that must be a easier option to
get a cricket game off the ground. The dev wouldn't have to be an expert in
the game, just convert the written rules and give it some atmospheric
Hi, gamers I talk to, over here, would love a accessible cricket game to
play. Just how difficult would it be to turn a tried and trusted board game
such as Wicketz into a pc game for us cricket fans? I would gladly pay good
money for that. Jim Kitchen seems to have the expertise...Anyone o
Hi all, after reading darks post on his upcoming podcast on smugglers 3 I
wondered if there's more on games and where to get them?
Thanks. Mark.

Don't think anyone has mentioned Sound RTS which is a free accessible game
based on Warcraft. On different maps you create buildings and armies by
digging gold and chopping wood and then have to fight to survive and concor.
You can also play against others on line.

Hi Snowy, don't worry it's not your firewall that's the problem I think Che
must be working on the server because I'm getting the same message and it's
definitely not my firewall so try again in a bit and maybe see you there..

For those who may have missed it there's a new test 9 version out with many
varied multi player maps which can be played off line in single game. The 8
player maps are real fun. I just invited 7 aggressive AI players and was
massacred! Anyone done well yet?

Hi again Thomas, you must have the ability to slow down rapidly for those

cant speak from experience but one of the top racers, namely night rider,
uses a steering wheel with incredible results. So don't be put off. see yo
Hi Claudio, sounds like a great idea but I wouldn't want to be the

a flurry of new ones coming through. We had a chat about having teams of
racers, which I think is really exciting but again how do you choose the

Hi Thomas, I use the mouse and set the mouse speed to 50. This is quite
sensitive and doesn't require a great deal of movement whilst racing. When
you go into mouse speed settings set the lean to zero and move the mouse
left or right to what you think is comfortable for, lets say, a 90 degree
Hi Thomas, I think what Che and you are both missing is that a game like rail

eventually do sales wise. Also you wrote:- it might be a good idea for blind

Hi Jason, I know what you mean about the voices in Che's version of Sound
RTS but I have always liked the original voices because, in my imagination,
I am overlooking a large table top battlefield. The scale of the soldiers
etc would be by necessity, tiny, So it does work for me.

hi ron, here's an old posting that should give u the answer.
Hi all.
This applies to all games using directx 9c latest version, maybe
earlier and the dotnet framework 2.0 and 1.1.
Today microsoft released new security updates to dotnet 1.1 sp1 and
dotnet 2.0sp2.
After installing these update
I no what u mean but if u have the upper hand just see it as an
unconditional surrender. I think it feels much worse if your opponent
leaves the game when u are reeling from an onslaught that's killed all your
personnel an he, or she, cant even be bothered to knock down your buildings.
I like this posting very much from Jordi on the rr topic. Well said and I
hope to get as fast as you one day.

Hi Niall, I did have problems with topspeed 2 which were caused by my firewall

for a player who isn't to start the game. Anyone else on this list had

Hi Risk was my favourite board game when I could see to play them. I

Does anyone know if there's an accessible PC Cricket game out there? Is there
an English version of Jim Kitchen who could developed one? I've played a

Hi Tom, I mentioned the enemy starbasis and wondered if you could capture
