you need to go to www.microsoft.com/directx or go to www.softwarepatch.com
click windows, then directx june then click here to download
Then either follow the instructions on info bar or click the here link.
As to installing it just run the

Bottom line one of the three major componentsMonty requires Sapi,
DirectX, or .Net Framework 2.0 is broken. For example, does Microsoft
Sam work
, that has the voices Mike and
Marry.
For now, staying with Jennifer, as her voice is very pleasant!

by default. Mich stated he did not install any other engines and voices

which killed your .Net Framework. Solution for that is completely remove
Monty, and the .Net Framework, and reinstall them clean.
