What was amazing was that out of the 15 teams, only two covered the spread.
Theoretically, picking to go either with or against the spread should be
about 50/50.

I missed that brouhaha. I was unsubbed for a while back then. That's weird...
I really thought I remembered THFGT being created while I was still at UNF, and
I left there in December 1999. And Frank, David Parker, Mike (Williamson,
maybe?), Steve (from Jax... what was his last name?) were all
Dave says April or May... probably right after people start receiving their
tickets. The earlier ones go for more $$. The ones that show up at the end
of July to the middle of August go for much less, of course.

Some of the lesser known guys - one fumble and they are on the bench. Whereas more established players - like Tebow and Harvin - not that they make fumbles often - but when they do - it appears to not be noticed.
I don't think that Meyer treats all the players the same in regards to fumbles.
