Bama and uf would both have to lose this week for that to even have a chance of
happening

I don't ever say "never" ...
but if we beat FSU (is#20 inBCS) and Alabama (is #1 in BCS) then our strength will increase greatly.
I don't understand what will happen with the Big 12 South. THAT and USC are the real problems

So... if we win out, there is NO SCENARIO that would deny us the NC game?

IF Bama is still ranked #1 coming into the SECCG... and IF we beat them..
then I dont see how they can leave us out... we'll atleast be #2

I am concerned by the number of coaches that want to vote Texas ahead
of Oklahoma.
If Oklahoma wins out impressively, and we beat Bama, OK will be #1 or
#2.
Don't look now, but Ole Miss is ranked - at least in the AP...

There is an argument that loss to an unranked team at home (UF) is worse than a
road loss (Southern Cal) or a neutral site loss to a ranked team (Oklahoma).
I will also root for Okie State just in case.

Well, a meteor could hit the visitors' sideline at Bobby Bowden Field

Really, meteors notwithstanding, being the #2 team in the AP, if we
win out, all the other polls should fall in line too. They're
still the most prestigious poll even if they're not in the
formula. I'm sure everyone looks to them
