ok, So if I have correctly understood, the symbol provided with gEDA are designed to do PCB, not simulation. In case of simulation, it's simpler to have symbol with all pins (power included), in to order to netlist correctly. I will check with a custom symbol with power pin and I reply to you

gEDA-user: gsch2pcb stuck

I'm trying to run a very simple schematic thru gsch2pcb and it's getting stuck. The printout says: using the m4 processor for pcb footprints Then just sits there. The footprints I'm using are TO-18 AND DO-35. Aside from that it's just a thru hole definition. Any ideas?

I'm trying to run a very simple schematic thru gsch2pcb and it's getting stuck. The printout says: using the m4 processor for pcb footprints Are you using newlib (file type) or M4 footprints? I rename the directory for the M4 stuff and only use newlib footprints that I create. Does gsch2pcb

I think the problem is in the footprints. For to TO-18 I wrote TO-18 and I'm thinking gsch2pcb is getting stuck there. On Sun, Aug 17, 2008 at 6:25 PM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I'm trying to run a very simple schematic thru gsch2pcb and it's getting stuck. The printout says: using the m4

gEDA-user: How to layout footprints overhanging edge of board?

Hello, I'm trying to do a layout in PCB with components that extend over the edge of the board. This allows them to be mounted flush through a thick face plate. The only way that I can lay them out is if board size includes this extra length. Is there some way of telling PCB to let me
