Hi Jay,
I'm experiencing a similar issue, however I can access the demo pages, but
when I use our own workspace it appears to time out.
If I edit the request and remove the Workspace namespace from
xsi:schemaLocation, but leave xmlns:feature in place, then the request
succeeds.

Hai Gabriel Roldan,
Sorry, for my delayed reply. I have a little problem with creating overlay
layers over a base layer. I am using Geoserver 2.0.3 and openLayers. For
each minute, I am querying new WMS layers from geoserver and overlaying
them on a baselayer. Here, I am explicitly destroying all
Hi Justin,
Yes, the LDAP provider was included in the provider chain (below the
default provider).
I managed to get a more detailed log for the test connection [1] and
the actual login attempt [2].
Maybe this helps?

G'Day all,

We have a rag-tag assortment of stores and workspaces: the strategy for how
to use these effectively is still elusive.
But it may be germane to a specific problem we're facing: how to exclude
certain layers from being listed on our WMS end
Still having a problem overlaying a watermark image over the wms layer. Is
there anything which I could have missed?
Geoserver 2.1.3
It lets me enter the full file path but does not display the watermark. I have
tried just the file name (which it did not find the file in the styles

Cool, thank you that does help.
So I assume you have the Use ldap groups for authentication unchecked? If

I do believe that it was a workspace name issue. I was able to get it
working after a few (many) hours of work. I plan on developing a tutorial

Thanks so much for the advice...I can see the [Advertised] flag also in the

control 'advertisement' in the WMS GetCapabilities response.
But can you also just confirm that there is no way to correlate this flag
