Very basic question here, but I can't seem to find any documentation on it:
When creating a store using Oracle JNDI, I have the option for "Estimated
Extends". I can't seem to find any documentation on this option. Could someone
explain what exactly this does and when I would want to have this o
Looks like a bug to me. I am curious to know if the same thing happens with
xml.
Anyways, can you create an issue in JIRA for this. Thanks.

The reason for the exception is that the JTS intersection operation only
works on valid geometries. Unfortunately the output of the
gs:CollectGeometries process may not be valid in the case where it is
collecting a set of Polygons. This is because polygons which are adjacent

Hi all!
This is my first help request on GeoServer user list, so sorry for my
mistakes (and for my english too :-) )
I'm trying to use WPS processes and I'm trying to do a wps process that
make a buffer on a feature in a layer and then use this buffer geometry to
intersect features on the sa

Hi,
Could it have something to do with that Oracle can store whatever sort of
geometries into the same SDO_GEOMETRY field if is not especially denied by
setting a constraint when the spatial index is created? Perhaps some part of
the system is not sure that there will be polygons and that make

Hi
I have been attempting to use the Geoserver cross-layer filtering
plug-in with my OpenLayers application. What I'm trying to do is get
all point features from layer A that fall within a specified (polygon)
feature in layer B. i.e. I want to select all 'sales' points within a
defined postco
It's on my todo list, to be honest, I'm excited :)

Hi Jukka,
thanks a lot for your answer! It was very helpful. I have not known the
GeoServer sql view feature until now. This looks really interesting and could
be exactly what I'm looking for.
Cheers
