patial Catalogue's
declared SRS does not match cleanly with an available SRS in GeoServer.
Hope that's a useful re-telling of the story, and thanks again for the
interest.

he Native Bounding Box was computed from data, but [Compute from Native

in by hand. We are also using an SLD from QGIS for the style.
Any suggestions or clues gratefully received!

GeoServer how to find the OpenLayers assets?
My grepping is atrocious...guess I'll start pecking through the config
files to see if I can find it.
Thanks in advance for any clues!

We have the OpenLayers library already available locally, and of course
the library is also available online.
However, I can't see an obvious way to ask GeoServer to locate the
library and use it for previews.
What should I be doing?
Thanks indeed,

th this! Aside from
tipping headfirst into raw opnelayers.js and geoext...what can I do? I
love GeoExplorer composer for the simple reason that it does 98% of what
we needs...it's this "select/style individual attribute layers from the
one source layer" issue that is the *only* miss
go a different conceptual path?
The CSS editor looks interesting: this would cut the effort of uploading
SLDs.

On 6/10
some
of the other shapefiles have hundreds of attribute columns (thus
hundreds of SLDs) and it seems like we have to either:
(a) create 100 shapefiles in Arc, each one with the *complete geometry*
and one column of data; or
(b) re-publish the same layer 100 times, with each layer containin
ogs is an exercise in vertigo...I'm not
that good yet.
So, the basic question is: how to go about troubleshooting this
scenario? I can't really see anything to give me a clue about the problem...
Any and all advice most gratefully received!

I can't see how the restful cURL addresses this issue. Even if it will
automatically create a new layer for each layer in a shapefile (and
limit the data to that layer), I can't see how we associate the SLD
file, or assign layer-specific metadata to each layer.

quite a ridiculous method for managing the shapefile.
And we're not dealing with just one shapefile with 100+ layers...we have
lots of them to manage.
Thus, this small flare ... a plea for wise counsel!
