Hi
I'm suddenly getting an intermittent WFS error from Geoserver. WFS
requests will work fine for a while and then seemingly without reason
start returning a NullPointerException. If I log in to Geoserver and
make a GetFeature request from the demo console that request works and

Hi
There seems to be an issue introduced with the new feature rendering
engine in 2.5 that causes point symbols to be cropped if they cross the
edge of a requested tile. Below are comparisons between 2.5.1 and an
older version.

That's very odd. Maybe it's to do with differences in PostGIS versions
then? I've tried adding tables with no EPSG in the geometry column but I
can't get it to not reproject in 2.2.4.
I think we'll have to write it off as a mystery!
Thanks very much for looking into it though.

In my case I'm not trying to do any reprojection.

Hi
I have recently updated to Geoserver 2.5 (from 2.2.4!) and am having a
problem with some OpenLayers maps that use geometries returned by
getfeatureinfo.
Looking at the getfeatureinfo responses I can see that the coordinates
coming back from the new version of Geoserver are not in the
Hi
I got around the printing authenticated layers issue by creating a user
in Geoserver called printer with access to all layers.
You can then add this security block in your config.yaml to send all
print requests as a specified user:
Security:

Matcher: !dnsMatch

Hi Wolfram
If you really need mapfish 2 it's easy to install it as a separate app.
Just download the war and deploy it, all you should have to change in
your code is the print capabilities URL, everything else should work the
same.
That's what I did, hope this helps...

Hi
Should Single layer groups that are added to a Container Tree layer
group still also appear in the root of the capabilities document?
One single group that I have set up and then added to a container group
shows up only once in the capabilities, another that I have set up in
the same way
functionality that is much more powerful?
Thanks again

Subject: Re: [Geoserver-users] Default WMS Path for Layer Groups
Hi Everyone
I've had a look but can't figure out if there's a way to set a default
WMS path for layer groups in the same way as you can for layers.
I'm building a tree in OpenLayers using a WMSCapabilitiesLoader that
uses the default WMS path to form the tree structure. It would be great
sessions at all and just attach the header to every
request? I have tried to think of a way to do this painlessly but
cannot.
Thanks again
