Back to that cloning feature, it's very useful, but, otherwise, I find the GIMP
implementation of cloning to be the cat's meow. Perspective cloning, IMO, is
just so intuitive and useful, straight forward and easy to use. I love it.

Both my regular clone brush and my perspective clone brush appears as an X. In

Darktable. Most of the processing was performed using Darktable, Gimp serving
only as a route by which I could export the Darktable file and convert to TIFF.

there might be a problem with
the tiff that I had created, but I cannot find any dialog box that deals with
the brush color attribute.
I'm certain the answer is before my eyes, but they are not finding it for me.

Check your GEGL install and insure it has been compiled with any dependencies
