Interesting topic. I was just telling my son (15.5) that he should try and pick up
some work doing simple web pages for small business' in the town. He is rather good
at it and I said if he charges $100 for a simple page, he would probably get some
business. Nothing fancy, just notification
The EASIEST way to avoid this whole problem is to set in Netscapes
preferences to "use my default fonts, overriding document-specified fonts".
The BEST way to deal with it is to make sure you read the book "Web Pages
that SUCK" before writing a web page ;-)

FWIW, I am having the same problem under Netscape 4.72 as compiled
for Tru64 UNIX as Randy did.
So, it's not just the Linux/Netscape (and GNU had nothing to do
with that, BTW), and may well affect any of their other Unix-based
compilations. Anyone try it on SPARC or SGI or HP ?
