If the button is greyed out it indicates an issue with your Finance Quote install and Gnucash thinks it's not installed. Go to Start Menu, Gnucash Folder and run Install Online Price Retrieval for Gnucash and wait for it to finish. This can also be used to update the Finance Quote module when an

I use the simple way on Windows. Go To the Start Menu and the Gnucash folder under "G" within it - click on "Install Online Price Retrieval for Gnucash", let it do it's thing. I use this whenever a new Finance Quote module has been installed and it works every time, also installs Strawberry Perl

Bruce, Try this: Set the Journal to show all transactions in Preferences. Set a filter while viewing the Journal to the period in question. Run an Account Report. You can do the same with individual accounts. The Transaction Report is also very powerful and can be customized quite a bit. I
