Helmut, It isn't a matter of using securities on invoices. The Security Editor is simply where you set the smallest fraction of a currency. (and thus the number of digits displayed) John is proposing tying that setting in to be used outside of securities, in this case for invoices amounts.

Try: Accounts > Filter Type > "Do not do any filtering" and un-select every account in that part of the dialog. (the top section should have the desired accounts selected, 'All' is fine of course) Did you get a report? Then try: General > Add Options Summary > "If no transactions matched"

For the icon issue, while Flatpak apps are sandboxed and might not have access to that icon location, have you tried copying it to somewhere in your home folder and seeing if that works? (it is the Desktop file using it, so this would be weird, but I guess worth a shot)

Tough one. The property value doesn't increase because you didn't borrow the full price and paid cash up front for a portion of it. The liability doesn't change because that's after (net) the down-payment. I'd hazard either an asset or equity account for something like 'savings goals'
