You are right. Upon further inspection I've noticed our code was
generating a new event as a side effect when reading state of some
components while processing events. The problematic components are
wrappers of TinyMCE.

Google are not good at keeping an up-to-date roadmap - I think they've
removed the roadmap they did have from the docs (unless I just can't
find it now). This probably means they don't want to publish a roadmap,
or they don't want to keep one up to date all the time, or they don't

I see the same symptoms in my build process using the gwt-maven-
plugin. The extra directory created by the GWT compiler grows to
about 5GB during 30-45 minute compile process.
My environment is GWT 2.0.3, GXT 2.1.1, MVP4G 1.1.0, Java 1.6 - 64 bit
and gwt-maven-plugin 1.2.

and various compiler optimizations for 2.1. I have been following the
changes and they have created a 2.1 branch in svn. I wouldn't worry
about it being abandoned, the commits are happening every day to the
GWT codebase.

in when initializing the RPC serialization. This will get kind of ugly
for our app when it gets larger as we use the command pattern for RPC
