Another possibility is to change the way gretl
Just go to "Outlis" - "Preferences" - "General", and change the language in
"Lange".
Then you have to reopen Gretl.

I solved this problem.
A mistake in gretl packages in ubuntu repository. After installation
from source all has worked.
