A friend of mine has a GeForce TI4200 that he's using for video
capture. When ever he tries it, he gets a white bar horizontally across
the middle of the screen. He's recording from VCR tapes that he recorded
with a camcorder, so it shouldn't be copy protection. Anyone ever see that
before,
got two asus a7n8x deluxe motherboards back from rma.
both mb's run great but one seems to have been flashed with the non deluxe
bios. ( 3com ethernet not listed in bios, no color begar screen and it no talk
to me )

Sounds like time to scream at them for sending back with wrong BIOS, no?
Can't remember if the flasher checks previous version bios to force
(protect) you from flashing "wrong".

got an authorization to send in to them. They took 3 months to g
Yeah, deja vu all over again. My kids loaded Limewire on their box and now,
of course, the thing is bogged down with garbage and needs to be cleaned out
thoroughly.
So I sat down to run the SpyBot and AdAware and come to find out they had
deleted the old SpyBot I had installed (v1.2 I think),
starting to feel the same way.
they did answer my email today rather promptly and said I should be ably to re
flash it.
at the moment it is running and this late in the day I do not want to break it.

Same thing, I click on the Spybpt icon, and get the hourglass for a few
seconds, then nothing else happens. Something has gone haywire.
Can't open any programs.
But, oddly enough, my kid opened her folder full of digital
CAn you do a ctrl-shift-esc & get taskam up? You might be able to launch
the program directly from there.
