I wanted to make some changes to my Airport Extreme (the -n one) today
so I fired up my AirPort Utility which couldn't find my router.
Confused, I tried to figure out what was wrong until I realized that
the machine I am on connects to it via a wired connection and doesn't
have a wireless card in

A friends experience "near" my area may be an indication
of things to come for you...
